MainStreaming raised $6 million in funding to broadcast online video games and other programs in the U.S. and Europe. The business will use the cash to improve its existence in the online gaming market.
Indaco Ventures led the round, with involvement from Sony Development Fund and existing financier United Ventures.

The company’s proprietary and disruptive technology enables broadcasters to stream live and on-demand and compete with significant service providers, such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hulu. MainStreaming’s option is being used by broadcasters, including Sky Italia, which utilizes the service to stream premium live, direct, and on-demand material.
MainStreaming will likewise be using the financial investment to support its expansion into cloud-based video gaming through its HyperNode option. Indaco will help MainStreaming broaden globally.
